How you can support us
Would you like to get involved as a ‘Friend’ of Down Horn Park? Maybe you just want to enjoy the social interactions or contributing your ideas? Perhaps you can help with the work of the Committee? We also need volunteers to provide practical help, for example with maintaining the orchard and community garden, or planting and caring for hedges and trees. If you are interested in conservation, you could help with wildlife and plant surveys, or planting trees, hedges, and other plants. Maybe you would like to help in the organisation of events and social activities. Perhaps you have some artistic or craft talents that could be put to good use for signs, labels, and publicity material. Or, you might be able to help with checking accounts or legal issues. Whatever your interests and abilities, you will be very welcome.
